چکیده

The main energy conservation opportunities in a dairy plant are refrigeration, and steam generation. This paper aims to identify potential water savings improve the thermal efficiency of fluid milk processing plant, using analysis Heat Integration methods. Methodologies for Pinch Analysis with use HENSAD Aspen Energy Analyzer applied. specific consumptions defined as indicators progress improved efficiency. determination performance targets heat exchanger network, well its design, allowed identifying improvement reduce fuel consumption through recovery pasteurization process. Current hot cold utilities duties satisfied, minimum allowable temperature difference 20 °C. Total annual 60 t oil 15,800 m3 allow assessing feasibility an investment project recovery.
